| When something is just right everything seems to fall together, such it was with the inception of firehouse one bar and Grill. There's been a lot of history with the building. Originally built as a photo studio in the past 20 years it has been a series of bars and restaurants. Three and half years ago, this fantastic building at 69 N. San Pedro St. became Firehouse Number One Bar and Grill. The owner Rick Onyon, and general manager Christopher Shaffer met and became business partners. With its high ceilings and long thin design the building felt like an East Coast docking station for fire trucks. Christopher Shaffer: Gen. manager and partner Chris is been in the food and beverage industry for 10 years now. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Chris moved to Europe for a few years, finally ending up in California. Getting a job in Fremont at a Pizzeria Uno's and shortly thereafter, at Dave and busters. Chris learned to serve, bartend and show people good time. Which he continued to do at O’flaherty’s irish pub for years and still does today at Firehouse Number One Bar and Grill. |
