When something is just right everything seems to fall together, such it was with the inception of firehouse one bar and Grill. There's been a lot of history with the building. Originally built as a photo studio in the past 20 years it has been a series of bars and restaurants. Three and half years ago, this fantastic building at 69 N. San Pedro St. became Firehouse Number One Bar and Grill. The owner Rick Onyon, and general manager Christopher Shaffer met and became business partners. With its high ceilings and long thin design the building felt like an East Coast docking station for fire trucks. My favorite day is definitely Friday because I get to see all the awesome regulars, it's busy and everyone working is having a great time and they are pumped up. It really creates an awesome environment for our customers and employees. What I love about the regulars? I love that they are loyal and friendly, and they don't act like they are privileged or that we owe them something, they just want to have a good time.
